The National Center on Severe and Sensory Disabilities (NCSSD) has completed three issue papers about the education of children who have significant support needs, who are deaf or hard of hearing, and who are visually impaired. These issue papers provide excellent information and can assist readers to understand the similarities and differences between each of these fields of study.
